On our path of self discovery, we are opening up to our greater
Selves. As unique facets of the Divine, we all have our own ways
to shine, to express our individuality in how we live, think, feel,
and interact with the world, yet we all are part of the One.
In these evenings we have a sacred space to talk about all the
changes we are going thru as individuals, and globally. These are

of celebration the Goddess giving birth. We will celebrate by lighting
the yule log and keeping it tended well into the night. There will
be meditation; and we will be working a Yule Fire Spell to light
a new fire within ourselves for goals this coming year. There will
also be time available to make offerings to the Great Mother, Great
Father and the mythic ones (elves, fairies, little people, etc).

Channeling Class
With Gregg Capella
To begin the class, there will be a channeling of the ascended
master Hilarion who will present a message for our group and answer
questions. Then we will discuss the science of how channeling works
and review the history of human channels from the past. This will
include specific details on the dimensions of consciousness, information
transfer via the light body and steps toward mastery. We will then
review the different methods of channeled communication, including
writing, mental telepathy and public presentations.
Next, we will review the opportunities and challenges associated
with channeling, and how to enhance your capacity while maintaining
a safe balance. Once we have the foundation set, the class will
begin the process of individually connecting and channeling with
the guides that are desiring to communicate.
Each person will have several opportunities to communicate with
their guidance with direct attention and support. The class will
wrap up with another Hilarion channeling with a closing message
for the class and time for any questions and answers from above.

No doubt you have noticed there is a lot about Ken in this month’s
newsletter, from the concerts scheduled here to the “What’s
happening” section describing his charity fundraiser performances
scheduled at the Westfield mall on Dec 18th, 27th and 29th.
There is quite a magical story how Ken came to be here.
I had booked a beautiful Harp concert here last minute with Peter
Sterling, and Ken who is visiting here from Australia, happened
to come across the announcement, and decided to come.
Several things happened that could have deterred him, he got lost,
was late, but as he told me, a small voice kept urging him to come.
We had a wonderful evening, listening to Peter play. Ken stayed
after to have a chat with Peter, and with me. As he got to know
me a bit, he let me know how much he enjoyed the feeling at home
here, and this unique environment for workshops and concerts. He
asked if he could perform here. I shared with him about my singing
and my CD. He was very impressed and we have been discussing working
together in many ways, including doing some CD’s and performances
together.
What really impresses me the most is his gentle honesty and open
hearted way of wanting to inspire love and peace with his music.
As I hear him play, I realized that his music is not just for entertainment,
it is very healing.
To watch him express from his heart in a passionate way with the
piano and keyboards, I am seeing a beautiful example, of a man fully
acting in his passion and joy, with the intent to be of service.
He is an avid environmentalist and has a sharp mind which becomes
quickly apparent when you hear him speak.
His Heart is aligned with integrity, and great love for humanity.
I am honored to share him with you.

The Word....Sound and vibration.
In the beginning was the Word.....Sound, vibration, all that is manifest started
with sound that weaved this beautiful tapestry we call the universe.
We are serenaded constantly with it, saturated with it, a myriad of vibrations
that saturate our world, the foundational vibrations that of Love. We are energy,
we are vibration, all that is manifest and unmanifested is energy, vibration.
Sound and vibration are the universal language that speaks to all that is, that
is all that is. It is all that we see as our universe, and it is the unmanifested
potential that rests between the elements of the atoms, protons and electrons,
in all the “empty space”.
Combine sound with intent, and it helps to manifest. Singing songs that inspire,
chanting mantras, such as Om, align us with higher vibrations. All levels of
our existence are affected, interdimensionally. Spanning time and space, It
affects Us, the One.
The universe humms with vibration, the planets and stars sing a together in
a beautiful choir.
Love is the Song, Love, the true meaning of it transcends all definitions we
try to give it in this human existence, with our limiting language vocabulary.
It is best experienced.
As we resonate, and harmonize with Love we expand into this wondrous universe.
Love is the liquid of the soup, “all that is” is the ingredients
that blend with it.
As we listen to Music, Nature sounds, the laughter of a baby, the soft loving
tones of a Mother’s voice, The inspiring words of a poet, we are affected
on many levels that we cannot put into words. This experience is a gentle reminder
of the foundation of who we really are. Remember.......in ways that we have
no reference for in this experience called human. Vibrations that speak to our
emotions, the doorway to our soul, unbound by language. Remember who you are
as a vibrational essence, the greater aspect of You, a beautiful facet of the
Divine, playing a game, walking here on Earth, pretending to be human.
Music is a portal to worlds beyond, chanting is a vehicle to higher expanded
consciousness. A lullaby sung in love to a baby takes them back to a memory
of Home, and their true essence.
I have heard people say, that when they are deep in the wilderness of Nature,
there is such a beautiful silence, and then they hear Mother Earth Hummm. This
is her “lullaby” she sings to us.
When we hear a beautiful love song, it does the same, we are reminded, our innermost
being is touched with an indescribable memory and that is why the tears flow.
We think that a lover is the answer, but this lover, this “messenger”
is a mirror to us, showing us a Truth deep within ourselves.
Our own human voice is a divine gift, a tool for manifestation, for communication
that transcends language, we can use it in prayer, in meditation, tone, chant,
song, reciting inspiring poetry that touches your heart.
Play with your voice, as a child running in Nature, exploring beautiful forests,
meadows, ocean shores, mountains, sing to the flowers, the waterfalls, sing
feeling the warmth of the sun on your face, sing into the wind as it caresses
your cheeks. Connect with the Divine presence in all things that is always there,
waiting for us, ever holding unconditional Love for us, mirroring to us that
we are Love, we are all connected, we are all One with Divine Love.

Here is another perspective expanding writing from a very special
Doctor from Istanbul.
I had the honor of meeting her in Hawaii at Steve Rother’s
week long Seminar in July of 07.
ETYMOLOGIC WANDERINGS

‘It’s only five to 2012, and you’re entertaining
yourself with tambourine man stories! Now, that wasnt what we were
expecting from your writings! Won’t you ever touch spiritual
issues?’
But dear friends, of course I am touching spiritual issues. All
the time! Is it possible to touch anything else when you walk about
in the universe? The flower which I water, me who waters the flower,
water itself, the earth absorbing the water, the earthworm lying
leisurely inside the earth, name more yourself, which one is not
spiritual? Who is not breathing, or even, what? Anything?
The word spiritual comes from Latin; it means ‘about breath’.
Spiritus: breath. Spirare: breathing. I prefer to use this word
instead of celestial, divine, or sacred. Probably because spiritual
doesnt carry any connotations like them other words, crushed under
heavy loads. After all, it’s just breath. That simple. Fits
me so very appropriately. Breath in/Breath out. Expand/Contract.
Diastole/Systole. Basit/Kabid.* In tide/Out tide. Day/Night. Summer/Winter.
The basic rhythm of creation...
I wander about inside the sounds of this rhythm. If you add an
in- to spirare and make it inspirare, the breath gets flowing into
me. I breathe in and I expand. Inspiration isn’t only breathing
in though; it also means intuition. Since breath and intuition share
the same sounds, it means they took off from some same point. So
both are the same, yes? How come? I browse through the dictionary
looking for definitions of inspiration as intuition. The one I like
most, reads: to breathe life into something. I try to visualize
intuition flowing in through my mouth and nose. No, I cant visualize
that. The breath doesn’t seem to be in need of openings to
enter. I leave breath and intuition hand in hand and hop on the
wind to continue my wandering. To wherever the breeze takes me.
I meet spiral on my way. That’s also from Latin. Spira, meaning
coil or winding. I remember that the double helix, the spiral which
materializes life, also coils up somewhere. Where? Looking around
in the world of words, I find spire. This Latin root is related
to breath too. And it was transferred to English unchanged. One
of its meanings is ‘a tall tower’; like those of a church
or a temple. Looks like trying to reach out to the mystery of the
heavens? When I turn my back to the church and face the mosque instead,
the line of nefes-nefis-nefs-enfes-enfüs-füsûn-efsûn...(
breath-ego-self-beautiful-breaths-mysterious/magical-mystery/magic)
appears in front of me. Could it be that spire is representing the
stairs from nefes(breath) to efsun(magic)? Stairs- the dictionary
meaning of miraj (ascension)? Is there a relationship between DNA
as a spiral and the goal of the spire?
It is entertaining to delve into the etymology of spiritual and
mess around in its semantic transformations. It’s like puzzle
solving. Did I tell you that I was a puzzle fan once? There was
a time when I used to spend my Sundays solving pagewide crossword
puzzles. Then I discovered the Pic-a-Pix. Sundays were not enough,
so I bought puzzle books and had my everyday puzzle routine. Well,
after years of practice, the two dimensional puzzles got boring.
I began looking for multidimensional ones. See, I’ve been
wandering around since then, asking, ‘What is it behind the
puzzle, where is it hiding?’ Ok, let me tell you my favorite
piece of this puzzle, before I hop down from the wind. Of course
it is l’esprit! In my country, the primary meaning of this
word is ‘humor’. L’esprit is very spiritual. Spiritual
is hilarious and rejoicing. How else could it be- to breathe the
breath of creation, to align with that great rhythm? Whether you
merrily sing children’s songs or get lost in the Great Sheikh’s**
definition of the taste of Being (or be damned, according to some),
do be sure to be in joy. Breath is also beautiful, it is enfes.
It is mystery and magic, fusun. The mystery of this magic is life;
it is in you and in me.
For me, to create a special category called spiritual issues is
about bottling breath and lining them up in a shelf. Like bottles
of spirits. Just for gazing, not for tasting. When you stuff it
in bottles and close the lid, the breath gets choked. So do I. I
hurry out into open air, move into the one breath of All That Is
and greet allthatis, all the leaves included. I hear Cummings calling:
the mightiest meditations of mankind
cancelled are by one merely opening leaf
Do whatsoever you yourselves choose to do, but I sure will welcome
2012 with my tambourine man, singing and dancing. Breathing in,
breathing out; reaching inward and outward at the same time; moving
with the rhythm of creation; expanding to undirections. I know the
breath will carry me through the opening gates. Illuminati, Annunaki,
the photon belt, reversal of the poles, UFOs, this and that... I
am curious, I cant pass by without casting a glance at them all.
But then I turn my back and mind my business. My business? Oh, nothing
complicated. Just the Now. All it requires is breathing in and breathing
out.
What I want to say is, I’m interested in breathing. I mean,
I am very spiritual.
*expansion/contraction. These are two of God’s 99 Names/Attributes
in Sufism.

Observation
I do not endeavor to seek out personal information, but clear pictures
of group potentials trickle in. I lay examining the fire... a word
heard, an image there, confirming traditional teachings I have received
with the elders. The overall form a considered crashing thunder
in my mind. Once when tattooing for the first time, I remember the
legends of migration. Dizziness washes over me in a windward arrival,
and I see my arms and leg tattooed. How these markings have contributed,
I ponder, to my spiritual growth. They, no doubt, help me maintain
connection to my point of origin. Which, incidentally, appears to
the the same source reference as my Polynesian family claim. I am
called by many names, by many traditions... but seen by all as one
descendant of prophecy.

For years I prayed to them, asking if they could do something to
reduce the levels of stress I found accumulating within humans.
They sent Child of Water in a vision…
I looked up, squinted into the sunlight, seeing the features of
Child of Water forming out of the very gold-spun rays of the sun.
He stood, tall, glistening, bathed in the golden light, skin traced
by the patterns of the spirit world.
Child of Water settled himself onto the bed with no more sound
than a feather on dust. He crossed his legs gracefully and sat serenely,
back straight, hands in his lap. The beauty on his face, the sympathy
and concern expressed in his eyes, melted my soul. The tension drained
from my body, a warm breeze carressed me.
I smiled, as my mind whirled with giddiness. His smile warmed me,
shooting like bars of golden sunlight.
The words came like balm: “Perhaps it will take awhile for
people to understand what is needed. From the 1st World of Love,
you got the ability to dream. From the 2nd World of Kingship, you
got your strength. The 3rd World of time taught you endurance. The
4th World of Soul Sickness gave you vulnerability. The 5th World
Coming Together, brings you wisdom. But the most precious gift of
all you have carried through Infinity; the glue that holds it all
together is your humanity, that common identity with all of life.
“ The gates of your mind open, the illusins dropped. You
teeter on the edge of merging, ready to experience the One. Teach
the people to Dream Reality.”
Child of Water’s smile might have been everything good in
the universe in that moment.
For years I have done this. My family and extended family continue
as our elders have set forth. It continues with you. I share with
you the ways of map reading and evolution. The Kachiñas initiate
the answers, showing you what you need to know in the moment you
