My take on “think as a child”

I had lived my early life being tossed to and fro by other’s belief systems, trained into me, first as a young child being taught how to live in this world....dictates of grownups around me, and later growing up in school, adhering to the rules, yielding to teachers and peer pressure.
Being a very difficult childhood, I would disappear whenever possible outside to be away from the overwhelm and fear. Outside was Nature, quiet and gentle, full of wonders, surrounding me with a myriad of colors and sounds, adventure around the corner, seeing a new creature, exploring some estate’s back yard. I would climb to the top of a tree and sing to the air, being shy and recessive, always looking around to make sue there was no one there to ridicule me.
I look back now and realize that the majority of the nurturing I received was from Mama Earth. Ever patient, never scolding or violent, but caressing me with soft breezes, inviting me to explore and have adventures. Delighting with each and every butterfly or bug I would encounter, finding secret ways to enter old abandoned estates to climb trees, or spend time rescuing fish from drying ponds. Catching lizards was always so much fun, and in my excitement to share my new caught treasure I would scare the housekeeper!

During these alone times I realize now that I was very connected to who I AM, experiencing the greater “me” that exists outside of this reality, the eternal part of me that is forever entwined with Source, the Divine. There was no doing, or rationalizing, just being. I would sit in a tree and look up thru the branches, seeing the sunlight making them glow, splashing between them, sun rays sprinkling me with warmth as the wind blew thru the branches. I felt so much at peace and restored then, like having a drink of water in the desert. There is no way to put this experience into words, as our language and points of reference are inadequate. I believe that as children, it is much easier to be in our natural state, without much thought or effort. We can learn much from out children!

As I look back now, the story of my life unfolding, I see where I have come thru such challenging trials, traumas and transitions, going thru years of dealing with life, raising wonderful children, working full time, dealing with marriage and divorce, and loss. I had been disconnected from this way of connecting with the Peace within most of that time. As I went thru those difficult experiences I changed my focus to what was really important and asked Spirit to assist me in finding my way back to my connection with the Divine, and to be of service to humanity.

Now as I experience many moments of this Divine bliss I had the revelation that it is the same experience I had as a child. There is an ever present ever flowing divine energy of unconditional love that saturates all of us all the time. I found a way to remember that connection, and with focus of intent, bring myself back there.
Believe me there are many times I forget, and get pulled back into the 3D worries and challenges that fill everyday life here on earth! I have heard it said in laughter, that this is what “Lightwork” is all about.
I feel very passionate about my journey to integrate my greater self in my daily life, walking in my Truth, teaching by example that this can be done, and it is not hard!
My goal is to walk in mastery of creating my reality with unconditional love for myself and all things, manifesting great abundance in all good things, and assisting other to find their own unique way of doing the same.
