It is now time to lay the seeds of new projects and new directions that you have meditated on throughout the cold months.

Now is the time to start taking action. A lot of traditions use this particular sabbat for initiations. New roads a new breath.

Colors for this sabbat: Purple and Yellow.
Ostara is also known as the Spring or Vernal Equinox and is one of two dates where day and night are equal; a point of balance after which the forces of light gain power and preeminence over the powers of darkness until it reaches its ultimate at Midsummer.

Symbols of this holiday include eggs rabbits and flowers of all kinds. Deities honored during this festival are those of the maiden goddess and the youthful warrior god.

The sabbat takes its name from Eostra Ostara the Goddess of the Dawn the Saxon Goddess who heralds the triumphant rebirth of the Sun and the return of the greening season.

Hellenic traditions celebrate the return of Persephone Demeter's daughter from Hades.
Some sects see this as the time of courtship between the God and the Goddess whose relationship will then be consummated at the following sabbat of Beltain.

Think about the steps you need to take to further develop the seeds planted at Candlemass Imbolic.

At our ritual we will celebrate a spring cleaning of sorts through our minds and bodies with our meditation and dance to celebrate our taking of action!
Bring a musical instrument if you have one!! And we will have the opportunity to color and bury eggs as a gift to the Goddess Eostre.
The Anglo-Saxons painted eggs with their hopes and dreams and presented them as a gift to Eostre.
These eggs were then buried in the Earth so that the Earth-Mother would know dreams of her children in hopes that She would see fit to help them realize their desires.

This practice predates Christianity by approximately 1000 years. As always there will be a moment of offerings grains water oils prayers etc to the Great Mother the Great Father and the Ancient Ones.

Offerings specific to Ostara include wild flowers baked goods cakes cookies bread and seeds.

Your Path to Self Realisation is about changing belief systems by developing a new way of looking at ourselves and how we respond to our path through life.

When we ask the question “Who Am I?”, we need to start with the pure being who came into this existence, and the external influences which helped in creating the person we are today.

We look at how our early experiences affect what we do today - what we believe, the language we use; how these impact on our lives and what we can do to change those influences which are not working for us.

We address the steps we can utilize to make our lives richer, more fulfilling, more loving and more joyful.

The Course

With a combination of discussion, energy work, toning, meditation, crystal bowl healing sound, group exercises and individual healing processes, we will set the vibration for a course that will blow your mind.

We will:

Look at how belief systems are created;
How they are played out in our lives;
Identify beliefs that disempower us; Identify one belief system that each individual would like to change;
Take you through a process of healing, acceptance and creating a new healthy belief system.

I recently met this lovely lady at Gregg Capella's Channel class here this last Jan. She vibrates with joy, fairy like energy, and a wonderful sense of calm.

One of her many gifts is to be able to intuitively create a special Attar, or perfume that is in vibrational alignment with you and your intent.

She has made one for me, actually two of them, one is for enhancing my alignment with my Divine purpose. The scent is lively, and it is worn in a special way. I have noticed a subtle shift in my energy, and connecting with Source within me manifests more easily.

Bio:

After receiving Reiki Level two attunement and embarking on a divinely guided journey from the east to west coast, Grace turned from her old lifestyle and left the corporate world behind. We are entering a time of great shift, a time that is moving out of time, into a space that is outside of space, we are moving into the greater I AM essence that we are. This precious Mother Earth that give us form, and a stage upon which to express our free choice as we come here as Divine beings forgetting who we really are.

Divine Love stirs the Heart like beautiful symphonic music, so many colors, beyond our 3D perceptions of same. Open to expansion, travel beyond earthly definitions of existence.
As we integrate our greater selves here, we bless and nourish the Mother Earth, rising with her in vibration, in ways indescribable. Irresistible pull into the I AM.

I had the honor of meeting her in Hawaii at Steve Rother’s week long Seminar in July of 07.

They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.’’

Another UEE(university entrance exam) period is over. When the scores were announced, some wept or cursed, others got proud with applauses, and each one answered these scores in their own way. But since their gazes were still fixed on the a-b-c-d-e choices, these answers were also chosen from the multiple choice sets.

What if the rest of the characters of the alphabet were included in those choices? Or better, what if the choices were to reach out beyond the alphabet? To spaces that were not constricted by words? To expansions where even concepts were set free? Where, for some, successful might be hiding behind unsuccessful? Happily sticking out a tongue?

This oddity called UEE calls forth such nonsense questions! So better leave these questions aside and let me tell you a story.

Months ago they had asked me if I would like to work with youngsters preparing for the university entrance exam. The families were lining up in front of psychologists’ offices. I might also have lines forming in front of my door. I said, ‘I won’t. Never!’ Never is not a word that befits me. I enjoy keeping life, and my words, open ended. But this time I cut short, saying ‘never.’ The parents of the youngsters would chase after me with a club in their hands. I have two daughters to look after. I can’t risk my life in such dangerous adventures.

When she was in high school, my daughter Nazli had consulted me when she was to choose her subjects area. I say ‘consulted’, but actually it was about informing me regarding her choice. She was going to choose foreign languages. Why? Well, she could only then choose the literature electives she wanted to take. And then? Which majors were open to those language students? Only foreign language majors. I did a quick evaluation: ‘Ok, the child might major in Chinese and wont be hungry.’ Nazli liked my proposal. Not because she had appreciated my pragmatic approach, though. She had studied quite a bit of Turkish and Western civilization, but the Far Eastern was left off. So she would be able to cover up her deficit. We agreed on her being a language student. I mean, she had her say, as always.

Before she got interested in words, she was playing with numbers. She was a good mathematician. According to some, she was a good student too. She did not care about subjects presented by teachers she did not respect, yet still ended up on the honor list all the time. Once she got a U from history. U? That’s an ‘unbelievable!’ she answered. ‘If only you were to read twice, you’d sure have gotten at least a B’ I said. I should have known better and kept my mouth shut. ‘It was you who told me not to study towards grades’, she hit back. And she was on the high honor list in spite of her history teacher. Now how could you let this girl choose languages?

I did. Besides, I really got excited about her coining her own major in college as Storytelling. Though I find it difficult to answer people asking ‘what’s her major?’ and say ‘well... something like literature’, I feel great joy in observing Nazli building her own path. She has already covered most of her credits towards an English and World Literature double major, but she is interested in stories. And insists in naming her major such that it reflects her interest. When she started taking a ceramics class, I said ‘oh, at last she’ll have some time to relax.’ Her program was much too loaded. But no, taking ceramics was not about relaxing. It was about observing the formation of stories in a different area. To read the story of a piece of clay ending up in a work of ceramics.

My daughter is after stories. She loves to dig out and read the various stories hidden in life. Loves to play with them. Enjoys blending and recreating them, and adding her own voice to these stories. How could I have insisted, saying ‘Honey, your logic is super, you are a master of words, you’ve got ethical sensitivity, and plus you are unruly. The exact combination for a lawyer. You must go to Law School.’ What if she doesn’t want to be a lawyer? What if it doesn’t excite her? Knowing it will dim the light of her soul? Which creditable major could ever be more valuable than that light?

I wanted to teach my children not to limit themselves with realities. That they do not have to choose from the realities of the market place. If they were to choose anything from the market place, then to make sure to smell and slap and weigh them carefully, like choosing a watermelon or a cantaloupe. Not to be distracted by the shoutings of the sellers. Not to buy those which their hearts are not attracted to. That reality will be their own creation. That it is passion which shapes reality.

I am contend about my daughters’ progress.

Let’s say your child is after rhythms. He is passionate about observing and listening to the different rhythms of the universe. Then he will interpret them in his own style and create rhythms of his own. For example, he will be a tambourine player. While he has parents to hug and support him, I shall not utter a word. I shall never interfere. As I said before, I can’t take such a dangerous risk.

 Rain on the Earth is a wonderful lady has a background of medicine training in the basics of spiritual sciences, ceremony and alchemy, and is ordained as a minister in the Rose Ray through the Church of Revelations in Oahu.

My mum passed over a week before Christmas. When she was in the hospice and toward the end of her life, I played Heartsong in her room constantly. The first night I played it mum and I (despite her being unresponsive) experienced some very powerful healing energy between us. I will never forget what happened and I feel that your music played an integral part in the peace before her passing.
Mary, it was just extraordinary. My mum was unconscious for about the last week of her life and one afternoon as I sat holding her hand the most extraordinary energy passed through her into me, I couldn't keep my eyes open. Thisl is the third gathering of the Men's Fire Warrior Clan in San Diego. It will be held this coming Saturday February 16th, from 8:30am-2pm at the Llama Ranch in Escondido, with a potluck to follow.

This gathering will be somewhat different from our last couple circles, due of our common intent to attend the community work party event. The work party begins at 9:00 am, so we are going to gather at 8:30 am as a circle to have a brief talking circle and ceremony before we begin. I realize this is a bit early, but is very important that we begin and end this day as a circle. Please be prompt as we have to start on time. Thank you so much for your attendance. No donation is necessary, as your donation will be your hard work and strong backs. We will be working around the farm so please dress accordingly. Also, please bring hammers and shovels if you have them. Thank you for your service. The Llama Ranch is a sacred ceremonial space for our community. Your service to this land, and the Llamas that reside there, is invaluable.

Don't forget the inaugural gathering of the Sun Lodge is March 8th in San Francisco! Everyone from the Southern California Fire Clan Lodge is welcome to meet with our northern brothers.for this ceremony if they can make it.

For years I prayed to them, asking if they could do something to reduce the levels of stress I found accumulating within humans. They sent Child of Water in a vision…

I looked up, squinted into the sunlight, seeing the features of Child of Water forming out of the very gold-spun rays of the sun. He stood, tall, glistening, bathed in the golden light, skin traced by the patterns of the spirit world.

Child of Water settled himself onto the bed with no more sound than a feather on dust. He crossed his legs gracefully and sat serenely, back straight, hands in his lap. The beauty on his face, the sympathy and concern expressed in his eyes, melted my soul. The tension drained from my body, a warm breeze carressed me.

I smiled, as my mind whirled with giddiness. His smile warmed me, shooting like bars of golden sunlight.

The words came like balm: “Perhaps it will take awhile for people to understand what is needed. From the 1st World of Love, you got the ability to dream.
